Our new Personal Trainer - Steve Harris

Please welcome Steve Harris, a new face at The Shire London.

Steve is the new Personal Trainer in our gym.

He originally trained as a PGA Golf Professional, and spent nine years teaching at Harpenden GC. During that time he became involved in personal training, and Strength & Conditioning, subsequently deciding to focus his career on this interesting and fast-growing field.

Steve has worked with a wide variety of clients with extremely differing needs, ranging from a 70 year old lady who had a double hip replacement, to City-based heavyweight boxer.

During his PGA training he achieved a Diploma in Sports Science at Birmingham University, and over the last seven years Steve has also studied Golf Bio-Mechanics.

Along with his Strength & Conditioning background, Steve can also teach you about personal nutrition, and particularly the Paleo diet.

Steve says: "If you want to strike the golf ball farther, more consistently and straighter than ever before - or if you simply want to improve your health and general well-being - then I would love to hear from you!"

He is offering various packages. The Starting Pack (£195) is 5 x 1-hour Training Sessions, and this also includes 1 x Extra Hour Health Consultation and subsequent nutritional advice. That's six hours for under £200.

His 10 x Training Sessions package is £350 (10% discount), and the 20 x Training Sessions package is £600 (25% discount). Both of these packages also include 1 x Extra Hour Health Consultation and subsequent nutritional advice.
